Out walking at Acacia Reservation this evening and captured this Skilligimink sky.
This was taken from between Tower East and the parking garage early Monday morning in Shaker Heights.
I’m not certain why, but there seem to be more Skilligimink Skies than ever. Perhaps there’s something in the air that creates just the perfect sky-blue-pink?
Again, taken by Akire on a walk around the block.
We have been rained on in Cleveland for more days (weeks?) than I can ever remember. This photo was taken on the way to swim practice on a rare sunny afternoon recently. A whole lot of sky-blue and quite a bit of pink tree blossoms.
This very large tree is near the sledding hill in Forest Hill Park near the former site of Rockefeller’s summer home.
About a month ago (March 2nd, 2011) folks in Cleveland Heights were treated to a spectacularly Skilligimink sunset. The pinks were coming out so far from the horizon that it was absolutely astounding.
Alas, I only had my iPhone’s onboard camera and not my Canon, so you’ll just have to trust me. This wretched photo just doesn’t do it justice.
As seen outside my tent on a Buckeye Trail backpacking trip with Troop 403 in November, 2010.
